My work as a cobbler began in 2022 as an apprentice at Man Mur Shoe Shop in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Stephen Cash, owner and master craftsman with 50+ years of experience, taught me the art of traditional shoe repair. Under his mentorship, I learned to resole, reheel, and restore a wide range of footwear. This hands-on training deepened my appreciation for craftsmanship and redefined sustainability, showing that shoe repair isn’t just about restoration - it’s about preserving value while reducing environmental impact.

To me, shoe repair is the pinnacle of sustainable footwear design.
