Genevieve is a footwear designer + material innovator based in Manhattan, NY.

What began as an obsession with basketball - and later, sneakers - evolved into a hands-on career in design and manufacturing. Both before and after earning her Master’s in Industrial Design, Genevieve managed product development projects from concept to completion, both domestically and internationally. Where does she thrive? On the ground - visiting factories, collaborating with workers, and getting her hands dirty prototyping solutions that improve products and processes.

Genevieve’s pragmatic, no-nonsense approach to sustainability was shaped by firsthand exposure to greenwashing during a 2019 tour of 'sustainable' footwear factories in Asia. Since then, she has used design as a way to question, rethink, and rebuild - guided by curiosity, quiet humor, and a full-lifecycle mindset that pushes against the status quo. She creates with purpose, not pretense.
